There are definitely some times in life when I feel like I am getting away with something. On my final night in DC I stayed at the Cosmos Club. If you aren't familiar with the city that will mean very little to you, but it's been a source of intrigue since I was a university student. The club has a long a storied membership; there are walls covered with photos of members who have one the Nobel Prize, the Pulitzer Prize and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. And I don't mean one or two, I mean hundreds. I'm here only from the sheer dumb luck of being a member of a reciprocal club. And the 18 year old me hasn't stopped smiling since.
