13 September 2015 part 2
Stirling Castle.... Played a major role in the on going battle between Scotland and England. Now efforts are underway to restore it to its former glory. So much of the interiors are not original, but it's nice to see a little more than a pile of rubble.

Arrived at our hotel, Melville Castle, just outside Edinburgh. In an appropriate carriage of course. Stunning wood sculptures throughout the grounds.
